Hi there. Everyone calls me Purple. I've spent over 25 years roaming the tangled paths of Buddhism, pragmatic Dharma, and secular mindfulness. Eventually, I realized no single tradition could possibly contain me and I evolved into the metasystematic misfit you (virtually) see before you.

I have over 1000 hours of dedicated teacher training with certifications from Unified Mindfulness, the Engaged Mindfulness Institute, and David Treleaven's Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness program. I'm also an apprentice in Evolving Ground, a contemporary Vajrayana practice community.

My approach is a funky blend of modern mindfulness and nondual methods rooted in a radically life-affirming view. It emphasizes passionate engagement, appreciation, and relationship. If you're looking for detachment and transcendence, this ain't the place. But if you're interested in learning how to welcome all your experiences, whether beautiful, horrific, or mundane, come on in.

I help people find the freedom to be themselves in any situation, which makes them uncommonly effective, authentic, and pretty much bad ass.
